SIS Therapy - Super Inductive System
At Dudince Spa Resort, we regularly complement the equipment used by outpatient clinics and other facilities by introducing modern and effective medical device-based therapies. One of our new additions is the SIS (Super Inductive System), which provides pain relief, stimulates the healing of fractures, and aids muscle relaxation, muscle stimulation and joint mobilisation.
The Super Inductive System helps with:
- acute and chronic pain of the spine, joints and muscles
- arthrosis and locking of joints
- tennis elbow
- carpal tunnel syndrome
- patellar tendinopathy (commonly referred to as jumper’s knee – knee pain below the kneecap, resulting from stretching, mechanical damage or tearing of the patellar ligament)
- impingement syndrome (a painful condition of the shoulder joint)
- frozen shoulder
- disc herniation and radicular syndrome (discomfort associated with compression of the root of the nerve exiting the spinal cord)
- post-injury and post-fracture conditions
- stimulation of weakened muscles (EMS – electrical muscle stimulation)
- relaxation of muscle spasms
- neuroregeneration
- swellings and haematomas
The SIS (Super Inductive System) is based on a powerful electromagnetic field that has beneficial therapeutic effects on human tissue.
The SIS (Super Inductive System) is one of the standard treatments prescribed by the spa doctor at Dudince Spa Resort. The treatment is painless. In fact, it is very pleasant and has no side effects. As this is a non-contact therapy, it can also be applied through clothing. The intensity is set on a case-by-case basis and how long it is prescribed for depends on the specific diagnosis. The Super Induction System is indicated for disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and for the treatment of soft tissues.
